What is animal wellbeing
Animal welbeing refers to the state of the animal; the treatment that an animal receives is covered by other terms such as animal care, animal husbandry, and humane treatment. Protecting an animal's welbeing means providing for its physical and mental needs.
- Animal farming (e.g. cows, goats & sheep for milk or meat, pigs, chickens for eggs & meat)
- Fish farming
- Hunting & Marine / Inland Fishing
- Animal testing (e.g. cosmetics)
- Animal labour (Monkeys in harvesting coconuts)
